Her brother, Chris, was born in 1962 & her sister, Cindy, was born in 1967. Danielle was the first native Texan in the family. In 1972, due to a job promotion of her father’s, the family relocated to the Dallas area. Her parents had a home built in a suburban area just north of Dallas so that Chris, Cindy & Danielle could attend schools in Plano, Texas

Danielle participated in a variety of activities/sports at a relatively young age, which included ballet, baton, tap, gymnastics, swimming, soccer, softball & English horseback riding. In addition, both she & her brother modeled for Kim Dawson Modeling Agency on a regular basis. Danielle’s modeling experience includes fashion, print & runway.

From childhood through her teenage years she had planned to be a Veterinarian and began working as a Veterinary Technician at age 16. However, by her early twenties she changed her major to pre-med. At age 25 her daughter, Amanda, was born. Danielle then chose to be a stay-at-home mom for the first four years of Amanda’s life. She continued college on a part-time basis but eventually had to return to work full-time due to a divorce from Amanda's father. She worked in diverse areas of healthcare for many years prior to acting, including pharmacology, genetics, gastroenterology & pain management. In addition to her current career in the performing arts, she is the owner of an equine appraisal business, which she founded in 2007.
